Thank you dear HeatherAsh.

What a special blessing to see the white deer and her fawn.

That was a visitation and a message of hope.

It’s all overwhelming when I look at the violence. The news makes me feel like hibernating.

It seems like there has been an explosion of hatred, that has been boiling underground.

Thank you for talking about not understanding it. Not knowing the answers.

That helps.

Bless you

Thanks so much, Tammy. Yes it is a hard time, and we have to remember that there have always been wars, and there has not always been social media. And yes the white deer was such a good reminder and vision of hope. Blessings to you.

I so needed to read your email this morning, this broken heart morning when I, too, have been feeling so much and reading/avoiding news….horrified by how much harm humans inflict upon others. I’m grateful for you, putting into words the vulnerable and sorrow and how it can live with the wonder and love.

Thanks so much, Jodi. May we all keep letting our hearts break and may some miracle happen to create a cease fire.

As a Vet For Peace my heart has been weeping afresh these past weeks, with compassion for all beings and revulsion for the fear of humankind, my own included. I needed to read your piece on the white deer. Thank you.

(Thanks to you and the green man, Craig. I had the pleasure of helping you with a fire walk on Santa Cruz bay somewhere a few years back when all your firewood had been confiscated at some state border, and only now see I should’ve been could have been paying more attention to your offering.)

Oh Cricket, I can only imagine your heartbreak. Glad the white deer writing helped bring a tiny bit of ease and hope. I so love reading that you know Craig and that you helped with a firewalk so long ago in Santa Cruz! Sending blessings your way.

can i plant another seed? in your raw, broken open... and bleeding heart? will you hold that seed and allow the bleeding blood nurture it?

and in human terms... complicate what you are saying-sharing... with another complexity?

what if... what if an aspect of Life (Life on Earth, not 'spiritual' Life)... just one tiny aspect, which makes Life whole in terms of what it is... is or includes, "being posessed"? what if one tiny aspect of reality and the deer is about "please posess me"?

who... when... how... will we see that, feel that, know that... as a very real aspect of Life?

in what new ways our human heart would feel too small, too tight... to either hold that truth... or burst open... shatter... bleed... in that truth. and thus, then, make space for Life represented by the "possess me" stream of reality?

who amongst us will be ready to be seeded by Life that might be wanting space for that way/aspect as being as valid... and sacred?

A very interesting concept, and one that I will sit with... I do believe that prey and predators have a sacred relationship and contract in some contexts. And that as humans we have a inner prayer to be lovingly, fully, compassionately possessed. Which is different than ownership, violence, and selfishness.
