Just beautiful. When I stated my first herbalism course, it began with a ‘courtship of seeds’ and forever changed my perspective. Thank you for this beautiful share 🩵🌿🙏

Aww I’m glad your courtship with your land is occurring. This is precious earth wisdom and I cherish receiving it from thee. Symbolically married the earth with a group of around 50 people on Pine Mountain in eastern Kentucky back in 2010. In the fast paced modern dating culture, the idea of courtship has all but faded from the minds and hearts of many. Pieces like this are restorative in that they invite us to ponder on the importance of taking our time in the getting to know a person or a place or…

I’m deeply appreciative for this living invitation and I’m deeply appreciative for the intent growing within my heart to move more slowly and court those with whom I wish to journey more deeply in this life. Whether it be with land or with a romantic interest or with a friend or a perceived collaborator, it’s so yummy and far more honoring to slow down and ask and tend and connect and be open to how the natural flow occurs and allow room for our souls and God to move and assist in everything coming together oh so miraculously and poetically. Enjoying this series and your reflections here. 😊 ✌️ 💛

Such a beautiful heartfelt tribute to that sacred land which also teaches me how to honor the lands around me in Texas. Your expression of the thoughts & feelings regarding that land & the steadfast trees is most inspiring. I had head to toe goose bumps while reading it. I will probably read it again. I love it when my body reacts to inspiration. Thank you for this gift <3

Love this, especially the trees related to the 4 elements….while i have relationships with various trees at my ranch i never thought of viewing them in that way. Can’t wait to visit and enter that sacred dialog to determine who is who….although i hear them speaking to me on the wind right now…..

Beautiful, thank you. So much resonates here with how I find myself engaged in self-generated ceremony on the land where I live. A joy to find your Substack. I look forward to reading more.

Your words never fail to inspire me and awe me. I'm moving to a new place in a month and I now have a better understanding what I should do when I get there. Thank you. <3
