Pausing
Releasing the pressure; your subscription payment is paused : )
Hey dear ones!
I think about you EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Each time I wake up I ponder what I will write, what I would like to write, or what I am not writing.
Out of the Fire has over 150 of you beautiful, blessed paid subscribers, and over 70,000 free subscribers. I’ve been writing weekly articles since I started this Substack two and a half years ago. It has been such a true gift to have the space to write longer articles, explore things important to these times through musings, share new moon meditations, and gather with you quarterly.
And I need a pause to re-group and re-set.
I feel something new wants to be birthed through me, and to make creative space within I need to stop producing. To lie fallow for a bit. To gestate in the dark. To empty. To wait.
So starting today I’ve paused your subscription payment for one month. I may extend that to two months, depending on what is needed. On Friday I will share an article I’m working on now about my puppy Mystic and our most recent mishaps; then each Friday in January I’ll repost the four-part Self-Care series I wrote last year. At some point I’ll most likely post something special for you all : )
Thanks so much for being here with me and supporting my writing; while I’m taking a break you are all in my heart and mind. There is a sweet balance I’m seeking right now; to let go of feeling pressure that creates unhealthy stress and rest into the good kind of pressure that creates motivation. You all have been my motivation. As a writer I need people I’ve committed to regularly sharing my writing with, to help me get past the resistance and fear and stretch it takes to share from depth. Thanks for being my inspiration.
Blessings,
ash
P.S. Oh! You might want to join me and our Warrior Goddess team for the upcoming Anti-Resolution Challenge, which runs January 1st to January 7th. It is free and so helpful as a new support for starting off 2026 without a long list of conditions that you’ll probably use later to beat yourself up.

Many many blessings to you while you honor this pause you need mentally, physically and spiritually while waiting to see what will be birthed anew. May your favorite place in Woodstock(if you are still heading there) be a nice little tranquil environment to recharge and re-energize your self for what will be arising for your next chapter. Much love and big hugs as you BREATHE into what’s next. 🤗❤️🔥🥰
Wishing you a fertile pause! <3
