Hey dear one,
In turbulent times we need visionaries, rebels, creatives, and wise ones. We need friendship, music, dance, and art. We need hope. We need laughter.
On Saturday at the Hands Off rally in Santa Fe, I felt hope. Hope for kindness. Hope for people who care. Hope that we can come together in peaceful protest to claim what we believe in.
We also need to feel safe, held, and seen.
One of my biggest inspirations and wise elders is my dear friend and mentor Peggy Dylan. Peggy is the mama of modern firewalking, and I first firewalked with her in the early 1990's. My life has never been the same. I've been honored to continue to work and study and teach with her, and her depth of wisdom, her humor, her practical spirituality, and her huge heart continue to be a light and solace in my life.
And now I'm so excited to get to share Peggy with you.
Peggy and I will be offering a free online gathering this Sunday. We both feel a desire to share solid, grounded, and easy to access spiritual tools to anyone who feels called. No experience needed; everyone is welcome.

HeatherAsh met Peggy Dylan (who is considered the mama of the Western Firewalking Movement) in 1991 at her first firewalk. She fell in love with the fire and the next year joined Peggy to become a Certified Firewalk Instructor, and she’s been sharing the transformation of the firewalk ever since. HeatherAsh is the author of nine books, including the bestselling Warrior Goddess Training and her recent creation Wild, Willing and Wise. When she is not writing or teaching she is often covered in mud, planting or building something at the land she stewards in New Mexico.
