Me, Too
I am a Witch, through and through
So, a few days ago I did a pilgrimage with a small group from the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Mexico to the Basilica in Mexico City (26 miles)… this was my seventh walk in ten years. Each mile of the 20 or so I walked was wondrous, brutal, painful, ecstatic. The next morning I woke up so grateful to be less in physical agony, and then to a text that my border collie companion, Mystic, had eaten mice poison.
She is fine post an emergency vet visit, thank Goddess! I’ll share more next week in a post called “She Ate the Poison” about the stretch of holding spiritual grace and fear, like when one is faced with a possibly poisoned dog when you are thousands of miles away.
For today I LOVE this article by Katherine de Vos Devine, which was shared today by first spiritual inspiration, Starhawk. Please please read. Let me know your thoughts. I first claimed myself as a Witch in 1987 or so; and while I don’t use the term publicly much, it is the earth-centered foundation and wisdom of my lineage of Celtic and Gaul ancestors.

Hi Heather Ash, thank you for that. It really resonates, as I feel I want to distance myself from the Witchy fad that is going on. Here is a song to complement your post, shared in Sharon Blackie's substack offerings shortly before yours was posted. The Witch of the Westmore Land https://youtu.be/dRHYbvd7WEQ?si=Ifj_XHWuJ2EqxyZv
I read your book Warrior Goddess Training.
